Industrial Tanks
Depending on client requirements, GVTEC can fabricate vessels in practically any size or shape - to be horizontally or vertically installed, with any of a number of support designs, such as legs, frames, wheels, etc.
Depending on your operational requirements, tanks can be insulated, with cooling or heating enabled by means of dimple-jackets or coils.
Our Inflated cooling jackets are machine welded. Higher flow rates of coolant is more economical to run through these inflated jackets. Pre-formed dimple jackets or spiral channel jackets can also be offered, if requested.
Typically austenitic stainless steel Grades 304 or 316 plate is used. Plate thicknesses used range from 2 mm to 12 mm.
Fully welded cladding with insulation of 50 mm or 100 mm thick mineral wool.
Customized, in-house engineering and design with external verification (when required by SANS 347).
