Cosmetic Tanks
GVTEC pharmaceutical and cosmetic tanks meet the stringent hygiene standards demanded by industry. These tanks are an asset to producers that need to assure customers and regulatory organisations that they comply with health and safety criteria.
GVTEC's internal quality assurance programme ensures that the tanks are built to meet the exact requirements of clients - in terms of capacity, functionality, hygiene, weld quality, traceability and ease of cleaning.
GVTEC supplies certified pressure vessels to PD5500 and SANS 347. All GVTEC pressure vessels are built under strict third party oversight and a detailed Data Book is compiled and issued to the client at the completion of the project.
The tanks can be fully insulated with seal-welded cladding and the option of 50 or 100 mm thick mineral wool.
Inflated cooling jackets are welded in a fully automated welding process, thus reducing the risk of human error. Inflated jacket cooling is more efficient, which reduces electricity and coolant use. Pre-formed jackets or spiral channels can also be installed, if required.
FEATURES AND BENEFITS:
Fabricated from austenitic stainless steel grade 304 or 316 throughout. Austenitic steel is corrosion resistant and is ideal for pharmaceutical and cosmetic applications.
Internal welds are ground flush and strip polished for ease of cleaning, to the required hygienic standard.
External welds are strip polished - again for easy cleaning in aseptic environments.
Fully removable Clean-in-Place (CIP) design to facilitate cleaning of the sprayball.
A unique feature - not currently offered by other local manufacturers - is GVTEC's optional mirror-polished interior, which greatly enhances hygiene and ease of cleaning in place (CIP).
High and low level sockets are provided for the installation of measurement instrumentation.
Top or side entry mixers can be supplied, depending on the requirement of the process.
